Important Message to LWF and Tri-County Coaches

To all LWF & Tri County Coaches and assistant coaches:

Hi folks,

It is coming to our attention with multiple teams and multiple fields that teams are either refusing to give way to Field Students or arguing about giving way or telling Students to wait.

No one knows better than our volunteer board members about the critical field shortages we have HOWEVER everyone must understand we have quite a number of our fields that need to be done up every single day and students must get to multiple fields every day sometimes right after school and often on days they also have other field jobs etc to do. They are often on very short time schedules to get to all fields so it is MANDATORY that while you are running a practice if the field workers show up to do the field YOU MUST take your team immediately out to the outfield and run drills there until field is done.

The other part to this is that once the field workers put in the pitch rubbers and bases for the actual game you cannot move them. Feel free to use the spare bases in the box for your practice and remove those when you are done but ensure the set bases and rubber for the game are in place.
