Former Tri-County Players Doing Well in U.S. College Baseball

Former Tri-County Rangers players David Plotsky (left) and Derek Apa (right) are currently enrolled at Sussex Community College in Newton, New Jersey. Apa, a right-handed pitcher and outfielder, is one of our own LWF baseball players while Plotsky, a tall left-handed pitcher and first baseman, came up through Bedford minor baseball. The two former Rangers are teamates on the Sussex Skylanders Baseball team, a Division II team in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Both are doing great and have pitched a lot of innings during the fall baseball season. They are part of a strong international contingent on the team which is comprised of players from the U.S., Canada, Japan and Australia.
