Tri-County is the only Association in the Province to have two teams qualify for the Provincial Tier One Championships this past week-end and we congratulate our 14U Girls “Blue” team for playing hard all the way thru despite being short handed for the week-end.

The Tri County “Red” 14U Girls rode strong hitting, pitching and terrific baserunning to finish in first place during the round robin part of the tournament and then turned to outstanding pitching and team defense on Sunday.   In the semi finals Tri-County defeated Yarmouth 5 – 1 while Oxford ousted Halifax 7 – 0, that set up a Championship rematch from last year but this time Addison Peck shut down the Oxford bats for 4 innings and turned the game over to Ashley Day who turned it into Gold as Tri-County triumphed 6 – 3.  Congratulations to the girls 14U Rangers on the provincials win!
