LWF Challenger Baseball

LWF Challenger Baseball is thrilled to announce the launch of its first season in 2025, offering children and youth of all abilities the chance to play organized baseball in an encouraging, non-competitive environment. Hosted at one of our LWF fields in Fall River, the program will feature regular sessions and fun, supportive activities through which participants not only enjoy time on the field but also develop important skills—teamwork, communication, independence, and confidence—that extend far beyond the game. Families can look forward to their children making new friends, connecting with the community, and gaining a lifelong appreciation for sports and physical activity.

Key to the program’s success are our dedicated “buddies”—volunteer mentors who guide players as they learn to catch, throw, bat, field, and run the bases. Committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment, these buddies ensure each player’s individual growth while encouraging as much independence as possible.
